It’s important to note that regardless of their condition rating, all scooters are fully functional and in working condition. Let’s break down what each rating means.
A part rated Excellent is in near-perfect condition. It has little to no visible wear, appearing almost as good as new. For example, a battery with an Excellent rating means it holds a strong charge and delivers top-tier performance.
A Very Good rating means the part has minor imperfections, such as small scratches or slight signs of wear. It remains in great shape overall and functions just as expected. For instance, wheels rated as Very Good may have light signs of use but still provide a smooth and stable ride.
When a part is rated Good, it is still in solid condition but may have more noticeable wear. This could include scratches on plastic bodywork or general signs of previous use. The scooter remains fully functional, but the aesthetics might not be pristine.
A Fair rating indicates more visible wear and tear. Parts in this condition may have multiple scratches and possibly some rust in certain areas. While fully operational, they might require more care or eventual replacement. Tyres with a Fair rating, for example, may show signs of wear but still provide adequate grip.
A part rated Poor has significant wear, which could include many scratches, heavy scuffing, or even broken panels. While it may not look perfect, it remains functional and does not affect the overall usability of the scooter. A seat with a Poor rating, for example, might have tears in the fabric but still be usable.
